Scottish Aircraft Wrecks formed in 2023 with an aim to obtain and document as much information as possible about the aircraft wrecks that lie in our hills and valleys.
Born from a twenty plus year collaborative effort as part of the ACIA group (Air Crash Investigation & Archaeology) the move has been made to focus solely on the Scottish Wrecks.
Through our own research and images we hope to highlight the wreck sites and give remembrance for the aircrew that perished.
Our hope is to contact as many sources as possible to enable these stories to be told and to perhaps even tell the stories of some long forgotten wrecks.
